Saying thank you to our alumni

Energy was high and the air abuzz with the sound of merriment as Business School alumni gathered at the Faber Peak Ballroom on 10 February 2017 for the Alumni Appreciation and Lo-Hei Dinner. This is one special occasion in the year that the NUS Business School Global Alumni Network Office (GANO) looks forward to, when the School come together to show gratitude to the alumni for giving the most precious thing– their time and talent, as well as, celebrate the journey together over the past year.

As a thank-you gesture, GANO put together an appreciation video that recapped the year’s events and highlighted all the wonderful contributions and the many ways the Business School alumni community has given back to the School. Deputy Dean Prof Hum Sin Hoon; Assoc Prof Chng Chee Kiong, Vice Dean, Undergraduate Studies; Joan Tay, Executive Director, Dean’s Office, Sybi Fitzgerald, Head, Career Services and Ng Pheck Choo, Director, Global Alumni Network Office led the room in a toast to thank the alumni for their unwavering support and dedication.

The alumni who attended the event include the alumni mentors, board members of NUS Business School Alumni Association (NUSBSA), NUS Business School Mandarin Alumni Association and MBA Alumni – NUS, NUS Bizad Charity Run 2017 organising committee, Class Champions and the NUSBSA Women’s Wing alumnae, as well as, members of the Bizad Club and MBA student council.

As the evening wound to a close, the revelry didn’t. Alumni continued to mingle, catching up with old friends and forging new associations – all made possible because of the strong common bond they share – belonging to the NUS Business School alumni community!
