NUS Business School is proud to announce it has been ranked the number three business school in Asia-Pacific by the Financial Times. The high position in the newly released FT Asia-Pacific Business Schools Ranking also makes us the number one business school in Singapore.
This is the first time the FT has published a ranking specifically of Asia-Pacific business schools. According to FT, the rankings are based on “the quality and breadth of business schools’ postgraduate programmes”.
Rankings are compiled through a composite score of educational programmes including Master of Business Administration (MBA), Executive MBA (EMBA) and both customised and open-enrolment Executive Education programmes.
Professor Jochen Wirtz, Vice Dean (Graduate Studies), NUS Business School, said, “Our postgraduate programmes have performed well in this inaugural ranking. With the many ongoing disruptions in the business landscape in various verticals, NUS Business School continues to focus on providing a holistic learning experience that incorporates industry application, global exposure and plenty of corporate networking opportunities to our students. One of our key advantages is having a great geographical footprint in China, India, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea that truly prepares our students to lead from Asia.”
The FT rankings also showed a strong performance for NUS Business School’s Executive Education programmes, with customised programmes ranked number two among Asia-Pacific business schools.
Mr Jai Arya, Head of Executive Education, NUS Business School, said, “Growth in China and across Asia is clearly raising the need for world-class management talent in all organisations in the region. NUS Business School Executive Education is pleased to be highly regarded as a learning partner, and to contribute towards growing the capabilities and knowledge of business leaders in this part of the world. We look forward to seeing more of our executive participants leading global organisations from Asia.”
Over the last 30 years, high impact customised Executive Education programmes have been designed and delivered to multiple blue-chip global companies while there are 21 open-enrolment programmes for leaders and senior managers each year in areas such as Accounting & Finance, General Management, Innovation & Transformation, Leadership and Strategy.
