Forbes ranks the NUS MBA programme top in Singapore

Forbes bases this biennial ranking by measuring the return of investment of full-time MBA graduates five years after graduation. NUS MBA is one of two Asian MBA programmes highly ranked in this category.

Shobhit Choubey, our MBA graduate, expressed, “NUS has a great faculty and a diverse cohort. Its MBA class had representation from 39 nationalities which made the learning experience very enriching.”

NUS Business School’s faculty are a mix of well-trained practitioners and academics. Not only do our professors hail from the some of the world’s best universities like Chicago, Harvard, MIT and Stanford, some of them are also captains of industry with experience in international conglomerates such as Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse, Microsoft, Dell, Nielsen, and Ogilvy & Mather.

Professor Jochen Wirtz, Vice Dean (Graduate Studies) said, “One of our key advantages is having a great geographical footprint in China, India, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea that truly prepares our students to lead from Asia.” Prof Wirtz has also written MBA textbooks collaborating with prominent authors like Philip Kotler and Christopher Lovelock.

With close business connections outside of the classroom, our faculty also work with leading business publishers such as Harvard Business Review to produce real world and original business case studies with specific focus on Asian companies and strategies including Tiger Balm in Singapore, 7-Eleven in Indonesia and B-Kash in Bangladesh for use in business schools around the world.

With plenty of opportunities for international exposure – ranging from double degree programmes, student exchanges, global immersion programmes, international case competitions and leadership conferences, to experiential learning such as Management Practicum projects, Management Communications boot camp and regional internships – the NUS MBA programme sharpens and equips students with practical skill sets to take on the world.
