Some 30 distinguished policy makers, business leaders, as well as friends and faculty of the School got together to deliberate the current issues afflicting the regional economies due to the global economic instability; and generated many new perspectives on what could be done to ride out the challenges ahead.

Panellists at the talk: “Asia in the Post QE G2 Era: Policy Trends & Economic Outlook” provided invaluable insights into the situations faced by Japan, China and India while the Q&A, moderated by Prof Kim Sun Bae (Strategy & Policy), was a thought-provoking session that generated much participation.

In his welcome remarks, Dean said, “… significant economies in Asia, like Japan and India, are making policy changes to strengthen their economies. In this context, NUS Business School would like to serve as a platform for meaningful discussion and development of important insights.”
