Business and Management Studies subjects place NUS top in Asia

NUS is Asia’s best in 16 subjects, where Business and Management Studies is ranked 15th globally, and top in Asia. NUS is the only Asian university to gain a position in Quacquarelli Symonds’ (QS) list of 10 best universities worldwide, with 11 subjects attaining a top-10 ranking in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2018.

This celebratory news comes after our recent Times Higher Education World University Rankings by subject, also listing our Business and Economics subject as among the top 20 subject areas ranked for NUS at 16th.

Separately, multiple recent rankings listing NUS Business School programmes such as the NUS MBA, NUS EMBA and UCLA-NUS EMBA with top honours in the region by esteemed listings like Financial Times, World Economic Forum and Forbes.

Mr Ben Sowter, QS Research Director said that NUS had adopted ambitious agendas over the past decade, articulated by innovative, progressive leaders and backed by unequivocal government commitment. NUS demonstrated comprehensive competitiveness in the very highest echelons, he shared.

The University is also ranked in the top 50 for 34 subjects out of the 48 disciplines analysed by QS. The annual QS World University Rankings by Subject ranks the world’s top universities by subject area. The 2018 edition covered 48 academic disciplines, with 1,130 institutions in 151 countries considered.
