We are proud to announce that Adjunct Professor Virginia Cha has been invited to become a member of the Network of the Global Future Council on Platforms and Systems, an invitation-only knowledge network that serves as a forward-looking brain trust to the World Economic Forum (WEF), for the 2016-2018 term.

This is the second time Professor Cha will be serving on one of WEF’s councils; she served on the Global Council on Fostering Entrepreneurship from 2012-2014.

The World Economic Forum’s Network of Global Future Councils is the world’s foremost interdisciplinary knowledge network dedicated to promoting innovative thinking on the future. The network convenes thought leaders from academia, government, business and civil society to challenge conventional thinking and develop new insights and perspectives on the key global systems.

With her prolific background in entrepreneurship and tech innovation in Asia, Professor Cha has been invited to the prestigious WEF Global Future Council as one Asia’s foremost experts, along with other leading academics from Stanford University, CEIBS etc. as well as practitioners and leaders from global organisations. Members of the council will collectively identify key initiatives to effect positive change and foster a healthy exchange of ideas.
