It was a night to remember for some 150 alumni, faculty, staff and students as they turned up dressed to the nines for our inaugural whisky tasting and networking event. Organised by the BIZAlum team, the participants enjoyed a wide range of single-malt Scotch whiskies from Speyside, Highland, Lowland and Islay at the Mochtar Riady Building atrium.
The School’s atrium was tastefully transformed into a cosy whisky tavern while staff and faculty members served as bartenders for the evening, adding to the fun.
And in the spirit of giving back to society, the guests took part in an auction supported by sponsors Penfolds, Brotzeit, Geometra, Flipper’s Singapore and Mangiano, where the proceeds went to the School’s Student Welfare Development Fund.
“Thank you for participating in Whisky Business 2022 – the event was completely sold-out! BIZAlum continues to bring value to our alumni network, which offers vital connections as well as helpful resources that could go a long way for the future. I look forward your support for future events. Look out for the next edition of Whisky Business in 2023!” said Yvonne Ho, Director for Development and Alumni.
