On the final day of Global Network Week, Dean Professor Bernard Yeung, in his closing speech, said the Week helps students and schools better understand the world, share ideas and perspectives, and develop innovative solutions to social and business challenges.
“We learn as much from you as I hope you do from us,” he said. The 30 students who visited NUS Business School were able to hear from experts on devising strategies to succeed in Asia, managing global value chains in China, gaining competitive advantages and sustainable solutions through frugal innovation, building service excellence management and the persistent challenges in corporate governance and politics to organisations in Asia.
One of the participants, Joseph Goldes from Sauder School of Business, said that he was impressed to see how innovation can happen at different levels in the region.
