NUS Business School’s MBA programme has ranked 18th in the Financial Times (FT) Global MBA rankings for 2018, up eight places from 2017. The ranking is the highest for the School’s MBA programme since we first participated in 2006 and places us among the top 20 MBAs in the world.
For this survey, the NUS MBA Class of 2014 graduates were those interviewed and contributed to this wonderful achievement.

Overall NUS Business School was ranked fourth among Asia-Pacific-based schools and first among Singapore-headquartered schools.
The annual rankings are based on data compiled from two main sources: surveys conducted with alumni who graduated three years ago, and data provided by business schools. Several criteria are used to assess and rank MBA programmes globally, including career progress of alumni, post-graduation salary increases, professional aims achieved, school diversity through international faculty and students, and idea generation through research.
Salaries and salary increases are the most heavily-weighted ranking criteria for the FT’s rankings and were key areas where the NUS MBA performed well.
The programme also performed strongly in student aims achieved, career progress and international course experience, for which it was ranked 10th globally.
Highlights of the NUS MBA programme include a strong focus on management communications, consulting projects with globally leading firms, and opportunities to take part in international case competitions. Students can also go on exchange with top universities around the world, as well as experience regional internships and opportunities for honing leadership and entrepreneurship skills with academic faculty and industry practitioners alike.
